This local orthopedic care facility invites the public to attend a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute’s (IBJI) Palatine Physical Therapy clinic opened in April 2019 in downtown Palatine, at 25 W. Wilson Street. In addition to the Palatine location, two northern Illinois IBJI clinics – Crystal Lake and Wauconda – also opened this year.

IBJI is one of the largest independent, physician-owned orthopedic practices in the U.S. Along with a network of surgeons, rehabilitation services, physical therapy and MRI and CT scans, IBJI offers collaborative, integrated care across its network.

“Our comprehensive care model includes in-house doctors, which allows us to have open lines of communication and create individualized treatment plans for patients,” said Palatine facility manager and physical therapist, Michael Lynch, PT, DPT. “We have a close-knit group and we can quickly share our notes, x-rays and MRIs between pain specialists and doctors to provide the absolute best patient care.”

The downtown Palatine stand-alone clinic offers physical therapy, including post-surgical care, workers’ compensation and related services.

“We want to be closer to patients and meet them where they are, so they are able to receive care on their way – to and from work – or even on a lunch break,” said Lynch. “It’s nice to be a part of a community, treating our neighbors.”

IBJI additionally offers an OrthoHealth program that has a holistic approach to increase the metabolic rate to alleviate joint pain. OrthoHealth is a four-pronged approach that combines physical therapy, health coaching, nutrition and sleep.

“Our OrthoHealth program is focused on a healthy lifestyle,” said Lynch. “The goal is healthy living, and weight loss is a by-product of this multi-faceted approach.”

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute will celebrate their recent opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony hosted by the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, October 29th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to join the IBJI staff and Palatine Mayor Schwantz, as well as members of the local business community, at this event.

The Palatine clinic offers complimentary injury screenings and accepts most types of insurance, as well as Medicare. Clinic hours are 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Friday. For more information, visit ibji.com, or call 847-464-3901.
